“And one, and two, and three degrees for Patrick Pouyanné (CEO of TotalEnergies) ! ». Tuesday, May 23, around thirty HEC students interrupted a round table on the climate organized in the Parisian business school. In front of them, representatives of TotalEnergies and Shell. The students spoke on stage to denounce the projects “climaticides” of these big oil companies, before sending a message to the management of their own school: “How can we seriously think about a strategy to get out of fossil fuels when Total finances part of our course? ». The students accuse HEC management of not being transparent about the school’s funding and of overemphasizing certain companies. Asked by The world, Augustin de la Brosse, one of the activists behind this action, explains: “The same companies are always presented to us during recruitment forums.
